Our Acquisitions
- In year 2000, acquired the Wire Enamel plant of Shakti Insulated Wires P. L.
- In year 2001, acquired the Enamelled Wires plant of Shakti Insulated Wires P. L.
- In year 2008, acquired the entire Insulating Varnishes business & logos of ELVINS.

Evolution
- 1973 – Chetan Ketan P. Ltd., a trading company started by our founder, Late Mr. Ashok Jain.
- 1978 – Gujarat Cables & Enamelled Prod. P. L., manufacturing firm, taken over by the current management.
- 1986 – New plant commenced for manufacturing of Insulating Varnishes.
- 1988 – Commenced production of Wire Enamels.
- 1994 – Expansion of Gujarat Cables, Unit II, started at Tax Exemption Zone, Dadra.
- 1997 – Chetak Mfg. Co., a new manufacturing plant was established for Wire Enamels & Insulating Varnishes.
- 1998 – Commenced production of Bondable Wires.
- 2000 – Acquired Wire Enamel plant of Shakti Insulated Wires Ltd.
- 2001 – Joint Alliance with Sterling Technology Ltd., UK.
- 2001 – Acquired Enamelled Wire plant of Shakti Insulated Wires Ltd.
- 2004 – ISO 9001:2000 Certification for both companies.
- 2008 – Launch of cenvar brand name.

- 2014 – Production capacity expanded at Chetak Mfg. Co.
- 2014 – Production of Ultra Fine Wires upto 0.06 mm.
- 2016 – Launched single component Solventless Resins.
- 2016 – Launched Epoxy Potting & Encapsulating Compounds.
- 2017 – Production capacity expanded at Chetak Mfg. Co.
- 2018 – Introduction of UL approved products
- 2019 – Launched entire range of single component Solventless Epoxy Resins
